Another 2025 Christian devotional painting. "The Road to the Inn" is one of a number of Christian nativity scenes that I'm painting. This one depicts Joseph and Mary on the road to Bethlehem. I very much like the lighting and colour palette, and I've striven for texture and character in my brushwork, making it, I think, an interesting and eye-catching nativity portrayal.

I print on premium fine art papers in high resolution using specialty pigment-based fine art printers for exceptional reproduction quality and longevity. Unframed prints include a small border to better accommodate matting and framing. I personally handle most printing in-house, although I occasionally utilise the services of a trusted Australian fine art printer.
